Pineapple Plantation
Pineapple Planation is a development in Martin County’s gorgeous Jensen Beach. Pineapple Plantation encompasses 210 acres of sprawling tropical lands, 80 of which are designated wetlands and preserves; there are seven lakes within the development that total 22 acres. 556 homes make up the four unique communities within Pineapple Plantation: The Pines, Windemere, Windermere at The Pines, and The Reserve. Most of these homes were built in the mid-1990’s and many of them have been renovated and generously upgraded since then. Homes here tend to have an open floor plan, screened in outdoor spaces and large closets and baths.
Low homeowners association fees cover common areas, property management, basic cable, contribute to reserve funds, and preserving and maintaining wetlands and preserves within the development. Pineapple Plantation is one of the few developments that allow homeowners to put up privacy fences, own large dogs, and keep boats on their properties.

This welcoming and family friendly neighborhood is adjacent to two of the best schools in the A-rated Martin County School District, Jensen Beach High School and Felix A. Williams Elementary. “Martin County is one of the most family-friendly areas in the country, according to Forbes magazine. Forbes judged every county in the country with more than 65,000 residents and named Martin County the 11th best place in America to raise a family. Sarasota County, at No. 19, was the only other Florida County on Forbes list." (www.tcpalm.com Tuesday, July 8, 2008)
